It’s not every day I get on a bike and am nearly dislodged by an angry rooster and his brood of hens, nor that I’m distracted by flocks of rosellas and cockatoos alighting in the trees along my path.
But then it’s not every day I go cycling in the glorious countryside of north-east Victoria.
